International Typhoons refer to extreme weather phenomena that arise as a result of climate change, which results in an increase in the frequency and intensity of natural disasters. The world community now has to face increasing challenges related to typhoons, strong winds and other weather changes. In the context of climate change, this phenomenon not only affects the ecosystem but also the social and economic life of society. Climate change causes sea surface temperatures to increase, which is a major factor in the development of typhoons. Higher temperatures increase water evaporation, creating more water vapor in the atmosphere. This contributes to the formation of larger and more powerful cumulus clouds, which in turn can develop into tropical storms and typhoons. Additionally, changes in profound wind patterns may also help create more favorable conditions for the formation and development of these storms. The impact of hurricanes internationally varies greatly depending on location and population density. In coastal areas, typhoons often cause major flooding and storm surges that destroy infrastructure. For example, in the Philippines and Southeast Asia, every year hundreds of thousands of people are forced to flee their homes due to the impact of devastating typhoons. With the increasing population in coastal areas, people’s vulnerability to these disasters is increasing. On the other hand, climate change also contributes to increasing regional temperatures, which often results in uncertainty in rainfall patterns. This can lead to drought following typhoon events, impacting the agricultural sector. Soil eroded by wind and flooding will result in lower productivity, threatening food security. Climate change and its impact on typhoons poses special challenges for developing countries. Capacity to deal with natural disasters is often limited due to limited resources and technology. Therefore, international collaboration in mitigating and adapting to climate change is very important. Implementing effective adaptation strategies, such as building disaster-resilient infrastructure and early warning systems, can reduce the impact of typhoons. Expanding research and education on the impacts of climate change is also critical. Public education programs can increase awareness of the importance of preparing for disasters, as well as encourage local initiatives in mitigation. In addition, governments and non-governmental organizations need to work together to develop comprehensive contingency plans to provide support to vulnerable communities. The results from international hurricanes show that if we do not take significant steps to address climate change, the impacts of natural disasters will only get worse. Efforts to map disaster risks, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promote the use of renewable energy are important to overcome this global issue.
