\"Poker\" <\/p>\n

Basically, Poker is a gambling game played by a group of people around a table. The object of the game is to win the pot by creating the best hand possible.<\/p>\n

Each player is dealt a card. Each player is then given the option to raise, check, or fold. Each of these options has a variety of implications. For example, in the first round of betting, the highest card wins. A high card may break ties when multiple players have a similar hand.<\/p>\n

In the second betting round, the flop occurs. The flop is a card that is randomly selected from a shuffled deck. This card is usually a high card and breaks ties if nobody has a pair.<\/p>\n

A higher card also beats a pair of kings. A five of a kind is not as impressive.<\/p>\n

In a poker tournament, players are allowed to bet on either the flop, turn, or river. A player who wishes to stay in the game may choose to check. A player who wishes to bet on the flop should not be surprised if he is called.<\/p>\n

In the first round of betting, a player may bet as little as twenty cents. In the second round of betting, a player is forced to bet at least one chip. The ante is a small bet and varies according to the stakes of the game.<\/p>\n
